History & Future

Since 1986, Rynn & Janowsky, LLP has been steadily growing to become one of the largest and busiest agricultural firms nationwide. Co-founding partners, Patricia J. Rynn and Lewis P. Janowsky, started the firm after working for several years as senior attorneys with the Western Grower’s Association. The firm’s experience with PACA law is now recognized nationwide and some partners are certified mediators and arbitrators.

Pat has since retired from law practice and Lew passed away in 2015. Jason Read joined the firm in 1997 and after 24 years of commitment and dedication to serving the produce industry retired in 2021. Their legacy continues through the assembled group of diverse and talented attorneys at Rynn & Janowsky, LLP. Over the years, our practice has expanded to representing and counseling agribusinesses in employment law matters. Today, we have expanded even more to represent California employers in every industry and business sector.
